City Offices Closed for Christmas and New Year's Holidays

Other than emergency services, all City of Newberry government offices will be closed on Thursday (December 24th, 2020), in observance of the Christmas holiday. Offices will also be closed on Thursday, December 31st, 2020 in observance of New Year's Day.

Customers wishing to make a bill payment over the holidays may do so through the City’s telephone system at 352-472-2161 or online (click here). As always you can contact us 24/7 for any needs at 352-472-2161. Outages may be reported online (click here) or over the phone. 

Garbage and Recycling Collection:

The Christmas holiday will not affect curbside residential solid waste and recycling collection services scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday (December 23rd and 24th), in the Newberry curbside collection area. Friday through Saturday services will be delayed one day. For Christmas week, Friday's collection will occur on Saturday.

The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, January 4th, 2021.
