Other than emergency services, all City of Newberry government offices will be closed on Monday, January 20th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Customers wishing to make a bill payment over the holiday may do so through the City’s telephone system at 352-472-2161 ext 1 or online (click here). As always you can contact us 24/7 for any needs at 352-472-2161 ext 1. Outages may be reported online (click here) or over the phone.
The holiday will affect curbside residential solid waste and recycling collection services scheduled for Monday (January 20th), in the Newberry curbside collection area. Services will be delayed by one day. Monday's collection will occur on Tuesday, Tuesday's collection will occur on Wednesday, Wednesday's collection will occur on Thursday, Thursday's collection will occur on Friday, and Friday's collection will occur on Saturday.
The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, January 27th, 2025.
