Other than emergency services, all City of Newberry government offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th, Thursday, December 25th, and Thursday, January 1st, in observance of the holidays.
Customers wishing to make a bill payment over the holidays may do so through the City’s telephone system at 352-472-2161 or online (click here). As always you can contact us 24/7 for any needs at 352-472-2161 ext 1 or by using the Newberry FL Connect app (click here). Outages may be reported online (click here) or over the phone.
Garbage and Recycling Collection:
Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling, and yard trash will not operate on December 25 or January 1. Therefore, collection services for those weeks is delayed by one day. Wednesday's collection will occur on Thursday, Thursday's collection will occur on Friday, and Friday's collection will occur on Saturday.
The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, January 5th, 2026.
