In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, all City of Newberry government offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27th and 28th, 2025. Emergency services will remain fully operational. Customers who need to make a utility payment over the holiday weekend may do so through the automated phone system at 352-472-2161 or online. As always, our team is available 24/7 at 352-472-2161 ext. 1 or through the Newberry FL Connect app for any needs, and utility outages may be reported online or by phone.
Garbage and recycling service will run as scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday and Friday routes will be delayed by one day, with Thursday’s pickup occurring on Friday and Friday’s pickup occurring on Saturday. The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, December 1st.
