Bulk Item Collection

Bulk item(s) must be kept separate from any other trash or debris. Bulk items should be placed adjacent to the curb no earlier than 5 pm on the day before the scheduled collection day.

Bulk items include:

• Furniture 
• Appliances 
• Tables
• Chairs
• Desks
• Grills
• Washers 
• Dryers 

*Ensure appliance, washer and dryer doors are secured shut or removed before placing outside for pickup*

The following items are excluded from the City’s refuse collection program. Residents are responsible for proper disposal of these items.

• Tires, lead-acid (automotive type) batteries
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Solvents, paints, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids
• Pharmaceuticals, prescription drugs, and over the counter drugs
• Dead animals
• Yard waste or recycle materials intermixed with garbage
• Yard waste exceeding the size requirements
• Yard waste generated by tree surgeons, landscape maintenance contractors, or other commercial enterprises
• Construction wastes and remodeling demolition debris
