NEWBERRY, Fla. – The City of Newberry is inviting residents and visitors from across North Central Florida to celebrate America's 250th Birthday with two unforgettable patriotic events on July 3 and July 4. Independence Day Fireworks Show – July 3

The festivities begin on Thursday, July 3rd, at CountryWay Town Square, where vendors will open at 6:00 p.m. with food, refreshments, and family-friendly activities before the fireworks spectacular begins at 9:30 p.m. The professionally choreographed show will last approximately 20 minutes. To ensure a safe and efficient experience, the Alachua County Sheriff's Office (ASO) will be on-site directing traffic before and after the event.

Parking & Traffic Information:

Vehicle entry will be available from U.S. Highway 27/41 at both the Pecan Tree Field Entrance and the CountryWay Town Square Entrance. All vehicles will exit through CountryWay Town Square ONLY. Overflow parking will be available at Oak View Middle School. Please do not park along U.S. 27/41 or on the roadway shoulders. Guests will enjoy the best viewing experience by facing east, where the fireworks will launch above the tree line just south of SW 15th Avenue. See site map for more details
