Public Information & Relations

The Public Relations Division is the Communications Division of the City and is responsible for disseminating news, events and informational items to the public through a variety of publications and media sources.  The Public Information Officer (PIO) maintains the City's website, social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.  The PIO co-ordinates public events developed by the city and assists to promote citywide events.

The PIO handles incoming media requests and provides information in a timely manner. The PIO also develops and creates presentations, graphics for ads and works with all city departments to promote events and City activities.

The Director of Finance & Administration serves as the PIO.
