ACTFOR Basketball

The City of Newberry's Youth Basketball program focuses on fundamentals, sportsmanship, safety, and enjoyment. There isn’t a better way to introduce your son or daughter to the sport of basketball.

  • Youth Basketball is offered each winter from the end of November through the end of February.
  • Coaches offer equal playing time to each Player.
  • The vast majority of our programs are coached by volunteers, and most of our coaches are also parents of participants.
  • Our teams are formed through a draft process that begins with a mandatory evaluation. This allows for more competitive teams across the league, ensuring a better experience for our participants.
