About Our Parks

Newberry Parks and Recreation Department manages more than 80 acres of parkland with numerous facilities located at each site. Some amenities at our parks and facilities include:

• 23 Baseball/Softball Fields
• 3 Multi-Use Fields
• 2 Beach Volleyball Courts
• 3 Basketball Courts
• 1 Indoor Volleyball Court
• 5 Playgrounds
• 1 Indoor Archery Range
• 1 Outdoor Archery Range
• 2 Walking Trails

Need to Reserve a Field?

If you or your team wants to reserve a ball field for a practice session or for an event, you may do so in two ways:

• Reach out to us via email at Kwillson@newberryfl.gov. Please indicate which park, amenity, and include a date and time.
• Click this link to visit our Facility Rental Portal. Here, you will be prompted to create an account with RecDesk. You will then be able to request a field for a date/time, that will be forwarded to our staff to approve.
